Osteopathy is a ‘whole-istic’ form of complementary medicine that uses 'hands on' manual techniques to diagnose and treat a wide variety of health conditions. Osteopathy is based on the philosophy that the body functions as a complete unit. When the body is free of restrictions in movement, osteopathy believes the body can cope better with pain, stress and disease and has the potential to heal itself.
The role of the osteopath is to remove these patterns of restrictions so the body is aligned correctly. Osteopaths utilise a sensitive and finely tuned sense of touch to test motions and tension within the body’s framework.
We want to help you move better, more fluidly, efficiently and, ultimately pain free. We believe we are the best at what we do because we get to know you and use our knowledge and skill to apply a truly bespoke treatment consisting of the best and most up to date techniques to help you get the best and most long lasting results.

Sports Massage
What Happens During Sports Massage?
Sports massage was originally developed to help athletes prepare their bodies for optimal performance, recover after a big event, or function well during training. Sports massage emphasizes prevention and healing of injuries to the muscles and tendons.
But you don't have to be in the Olympics to benefit from sports massage. Sports massage is also good for people with injuries, chronic pain or restricted range of motion. The sports massage therapist generally concentrates on a specific problem area. The stiff necks from too much lap top use? Tense shoulders from, well, a tense, tough day at work? Sports massage will help to alleviate the symptoms and the therapist will help address the cause with specific advice.
